Why I Love College

4-Square
The best thing about Ochem Lab was the fact that writing the reports were so bad I decided to take a break from them one day and check out the 4-Square Club, and let me tell ya, it was one of the best decisions I've made. It's so much fun! You should come check it out too!
Come play with us!
Ninjas
Unfortunately, ninjas follow you everywhere, which is why i bought myself a bow and arrow. Now i spend my day shooting ninjas from my suite's living room window (when tony and alex aren't throwing rotten apples out of it anyway).
Why you ask? BECAUSE PIRATES ROCK!!!
The Bridges
We all know that Pittsburgh is the city with the second most number of bridges (as if that made sense) rigth after Venice. So, if you're ever thinking about jumping off of one, all you have to do is ride a bus going downtown until it says "Fifth and Kirkpatrick: Birmingham Bridge" get off, and jump.
It's just that easy. (and it makes up for the lack of cliffs around here...)
Kiefer Sutherland
Alright, so I'm not a big fan of 24, but you have to admit, Kiefer Sutherland is freakin awesome. (probably just as awesome as Bruce Campbell...hmmm....) He's a hott vampire, and he even makes Disney's The Three Musketeers worth watching...which it isn't.
I'm not quite listing reasons of why I like college...
I like college because it allows me to be completely random and make webpages like this. It makes procrastinating very easy.
Public Transportation
Ever since I've gotten here the best thing about college is definitely riding buses and the T and the incline to places I feel like going to. There is nothing more exciting than to be waiting on the side of the street, watch a bus pull up, watch its doors open, and hear it say "59U. South Side Works."

Jobs I would like to do when I grow up

(figuratively, of course, since I am not growing anymore...5 feet forever!)

Things I Have Learned While At College

  1. John Donne is NOT overrated. True, sometimes you need your space, but really, anyone who says they don't need anyone and just want to be left alone just needs a hug. So hug them. And then let go quickly and run away, just in case they don't realize they needed a hug and decide to punch you.
  2. Computers hate me. Alright, so i already knew that but college definitely proved it. There is only so much maple, html, matlab, c++, and any other kind of programming that people can take before they are programmed by the computer to commit suicide (see last picture in engineering computer class).
  3. Organic chemistry is amazing. I mean, what other subject gives you such great insults such as, "Your mom's a methyl group!" or "I'm going to sterically hinder your mom tonight!" Seriously, who needs a boyfriend when ochem screws with you every day? Have you heard of some of the concepts we've learned about? Backside attack and Ruff Degradation! Just the way you're mother likes it, eh Trebek?"
  4. Dividing by zero is a bad thing. Apparantly engineers unleash an awful power that kill small children in China everytime they accidentally divide by zero. And when you use excel as often as we do, that happens quite often...oops. Makes for a great comic strip though (see my facebook album!)
  1. This used to say absolutely nothing, but I didn't learn anything my freshmen year. So I kept it as an ode to the awful Physics teacher known as Russell Clark anyway. He really isn't that bad of a guy, I just really hated Physics 2...which is why I'm a CHEMICAL Engineer. And I love it!
  2. Being a chemical engineer ROCKS!
